DreamStream.tv is a social networking site dedicated to celebrate, motivate, and inspire those who are passionate about chasing after their dreams. Amir Khan

As a 2004 graduate of Rutgers University in Communications and Mass Media, Amir Khan has always been on an entertainment and media driven path. As the nephew of two prominent Directors in the theater and film worlds, Amir grew up performing in the arts including features on the long-running Sesame Street. Eventually the love for the camera, however, changed from being in front of the camera to being behind the camera.

Emmy award winning Director Mustapha Khan gave Amir the opportunity to work on numerous films including the Emmy award winning documentary “House on Fire.” Amir attributes his childhood acting experience to his ability to translate and identify what elements of film a Director desires to capture. Amir parlayed that experience into an internship with MTV News. His assistant role as an intern became very influential for various shoots including interviews with superstar artists like Jay-Z, Usher, Kanye West, Cassidy, Norah Jones, Alicia Keys, and many others.

In 2004, Amir landed a position at Philadelphia International Records who stout legendary artists such as Patti Labelle, Lou Rawls, Teddy Pendergrass, the O’Jays, and the Jackson’s. Working for the legendary Kenneth Gamble and Leon Huff, the architects of the “Sound of Philadelphia,” has been a defining experience for Amir. Starting off as the corporate assistant to the executive vice president and working his way to becoming the Senior Director of Special Projects and Events, Amir attributes his success within the Gamble-Huff organization to the experience of learning and adapting to various types of environments.

Amir’s diverse experience within the entertainment industry has successfully prepared him to deploy a revolutionary concept to the world. DreamStream.tv not only embraces the greatest phenomenon of this generation, social networking and reality entertainment, but also gives something positive back to the community.
